Stephen King True Value does not facilitate, process, or mediate any transactions. This forum is a public bulletin board — nothing more. Think of it like Craigslist for King collectors. We provide the space; everything else is between you and the other party.

What this means:

  • We are not responsible for enforcing any sale, trade, or agreement made between users
  • We are not responsible for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks of any kind
  • We are not responsible for shipping, including packages that are lost, damaged, delayed, or misdelivered
  • We do not verify the identity, reputation, or claims of any seller or buyer
  • We do not hold funds, escrow payments, or act as any kind of intermediary
  • All purchases are made entirely at your own risk

Protect yourself — always use PayPal Goods & Services.

If you are buying from someone you do not personally know and trust, always pay using PayPal Goods & Services (not Friends & Family). This gives you buyer protection in case something goes wrong. If a seller insists on Friends & Family or any other payment method without buyer protection, treat that as a red flag.

Sellers: be honest about condition, photograph your books thoroughly, pack them well, and ship with tracking. Your reputation in this community is everything.
